He had decided he would stay here and try his luck. He doesn’t know where he is going to stay, or exactly how he is going to get money for food or shelter. It seemed like his best bet, given that the soldiers guarding the wall don’t seem to be very understanding. “How is this fair? How am I supposed to see my family again?” said one man in the same predicament as Leon. Instead of reasoning with the man, the soldier simply beat him until he was on the floor. Leon clearly wasn’t the only one in this situation, but he quickly learned that speaking up about it would get him nowhere. “There never going to let us pass!” yelled one person. “This is crazy, let us through!” screamed another. Nobodies attempts seemed to be working, and most were met with violence. “What am I supposed to do know, my family and everything I love is on the other side!” mumbled Leon. Another man standing next to Leon overheard his statement, and whispered back “I think I can help you out”. “What do you mean”, said Leon. “I said I can help you out. You want it or not”, said the other man, sounding very dull and monotone. Leon wasn’t sure if he could trust him or not. He was a shorter man, with black trousers and a long black coat that seemed to big for him. “What's your plan?” asked Leon hopefully. The man didn’t answer. He said “Give me 50 Euros and we’ll talk”. That was all of the money Leon had on him, but he wasn’t sure if he should risk it. The man didn’t seem like he cared to much about the wall or the situation that Leon was in, but it might be Leon's only chance. Leon didn’t know whether to trust him or not, but he was running out of time and options.
